[ARTICLE] 140605 U-KISS REVEALS THEIR THOUGHTS ON ADDING A NEW MEMBER; JOON THANKS FANS

Their title song has recieved the 19+ label for their music video, but why did they choose to go with this concept?
Recently, U-KISS had their showcase at the Seoul Hongdae V-hall debuting their music video for their new track “Quit Playing”.
Having racy skinship scenes with female models and topless clips of the members, it’s no wonder the Korea’s Ministry of Gender Equality and Family gave it a 19+ rating.
U-KISS’ leader Soohyun states, “U-KISS has done strong images, melodic songs, and music with a mix of different sounds, but it seems that when we release a new song, there are still many people who didn’t like it. That is why we added a new member to show off a different charm.”
Hoon added “I was really worried about our fans being jealous. Thankfully, the response wasn’t too bad and I think that I’ll be able to have fun while promoting this song.”
Members revealed that in order to achieve the bodies they had in the music video, they had to go on strict diets. Leader Soohyun lost the most weight with 8 kg or 18 pounds.
With the addition of their new member Joon, they had their first showcase ever since their debut 6 years ago. Joon expressed his happiness at being added into the group saying “I was so excited for the showcase that I barely had sleep last night”.
Did you like their new song? How did you feel about the skinship they showed towards the models?
