U-KISS member Hoon was involved in a car accident recently, causing fans to be worried.
A representative from U-KISS’ agency, NH Media, stated on December 9 that, “Hoon was driving on December 4, when he got into a minor fender-bender. The victim is currently receiving hospital treatment, while Hoon was not seriously injured.”
According to NH Media, the accident occurred at the COEX four-way intersection in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Hoon was driving leader Soohyun’s car, when he collided with the car in front, causing an accident with his inexperienced driving. Both Hoon and the other party were not seriously injured. Hoon’s agency stated that they plan to negotiate a settlement with the other party after they finish receiving treatment.
Hoon has since crossed over to Japan to concentrate on U-KISS’ Japanese promotions. He left a message for fans on his official Twitter account on December 9, “I’m sorry for causing everyone to worry. I am really fine.”
Hoon is currently acting in KBS 2TV’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Beautiful Man,” playing IU’s younger brother, Kim Dae Shik. Hoon and his fellow U-KISS members released their eighth mini-album at the end of October and have been promoting their title song “She’s Mine.”
U-KISS will be holding their first U.S. tour next January.
