1. To the left of the individual nominee’s page is a Tweet/Like counter. You must be logged into your facebook or twitter account before clicking on either Auto Vote button to vote through there. It will do the work for you. Wow, look at our numbers! Frickin’ YAY Baby!
2. To the right of the screen is a link that creates an auto tweet pop up. Take note of the wording. MTV does not capitalize all the group’s initials. This is a case sensitive vote that does all of the typing for you. Another YAY!
3. In the tweet pop up there are three elements: U-Kiss, a link to the nominee page, and the hashtag. The link is not required to make the tweet/vote count, just the hashtag AND the nominee’s name. If you have tweeted this way before, you may get an error stating that you have already sent this tweet. You can override it by adding random text at the end of the sentence; like a period, emojicon, or whatever you like.
There seems to be a miscommunication that tweeting does not count. What people are confused with is The Biggest Fan voting system, where you actually have to choose one of their five pre-selected artists to be a big fan of, register and be logged into the MTV site. The hashtag without a groups’ name in it is MTV’s way of making your Biggest Fan group that you’ve registered with get votes automatically. Blah, blah, blah. This is a completely separate process from voting for individual nominees, like our guys! I hope this clears things up. Let’s stop losing votes now. Hwaiting!
